How to use this product
Ensure a clean, uniform substrate before application. Mask surrounding areas with layered tape and plastic for precise, clean edges. If required, apply SEMCO Liquid Membrane for waterproofing or use a Brown Coat for leveling and crack repair.
Prime with colored X-BOND Liquid and, while still tacky, apply the Scratch Coat (Liquid + Stone). Spread tightly in one direction with a broom to create texture. Allow to dry completely, then scrape and clean. This forms the bonding foundation—do not modify or skip this step.
Prime and apply two thin Skim Coats (Liquid + Stone) using a trowel in one direction, maintaining a wet-on-tacky method. After drying, sand high points if needed. Finish with MicroBond for refined texture and color consistency. Remove tape before fully dry and allow 12–24 hours to cure prior to sealing.
Select the appropriate sealer—SEMCO Sealer Matte, Titan Shield Gloss, Satin Stone, or Natural Shield—and apply as directed for desired finish and protection. Work evenly, allow full drying between coats, and apply from bottom to top on vertical surfaces. Avoid water for 48 hours and cleaners for 5 days. Maintain surfaces using SEMCO Stone Soap to preserve durability and appearance.
